Students are evaluated based on an average grade point system which is calculated during the course of the particular programme.

  • Check and the application requirements for each universities and their application deadlines
  • For international students who do not have English as their first language must attend certain English tests accepted by the particular university. They can either attend IELTS/TOEFL and students will be evaluated based on their scores for these tests. An IELTS score of 6 or above or a TOEFL score of 80 and above is preferred for most of the universities.
  • Based on the type of programme the student wishes to apply to, they will have to meet certain eligibility criteria. Students who wish to do masters or post graduate degree will require a bachelor’s degree (3 or 4 year course) along with the English tests.

There are 2 intakes for Canadian universities. Most of the admissions take place at the fall season (September) and some universities have winter intake (January) which depends on the university that you wish to apply to.
